River Island – Style Studio

I was lucky enough to visit River Islands Style Studio a few weeks back to style an Autumn Winter look for the blog. Those not familiar with the service, River Island in selected stores offer a complimentary styling service. Instead of the team styling me, I had the opportunity to give my take on the Autumn Winter season. Here’s how I got on styling.

River Island has hit the nail on the head when it comes to Autumn Winter, the store has all you need to be on trend. There were so many options available that I had to make some hard decisions when styling the look. Ultimately I wanted to introduce some layering to the look and keep the colour palette minimal. As you can see from the shoot I went with a mix of black, stone and burgundy. All colours associated with Autumn. The basket knit stitch jumper is great for layering and really compliments the burgundy oxford shirt. The key piece of the look is the fur collar jacket, both fur and borg jackets are a must have this season and this soft suede version is great for a smarter look. Lastly the suede sneakers add a sport lux edge to the look.
